How It Works

  • Pilots will fly two (2) runs.

  • The 1st Flight will be 120 Seconds (2 minutes)

  • The 2nd Flight will be 90 Seconds (1.5 minutes)

  • The higher score achieved in either of the two runs will be your final score

  • *The Fly Tribe FPV Freestyle Championship FInal in Oregon will have a slight twist to the rules, which will be announced closer to that date.

Judging Criteria (0-5 Points Each Category

  • Variety of Tricks (assortment of freestyle tricks)

  • Difficulty/Risk (Complexity and technical challenge of the tricks/Obstacles Executed)

  • Quality of Execution (clean entry/exit. Executed on purpose)

  • Flow (smooth and consistent flight throughout the pack)

  • Versatility on the Course (Effective Utilization of the park or course area)

  • Complete Course (Bonus Points) (return to the take-off point)

  • Pilots will have the possibility of Thirty (30) total points per run

  • At the end of each run, all five (5) judges will score, and the highest and lowest scores are dropped. The remaining three are averaged for the pilot's total score for that run.​​

The Freestyle Qualifying Competitions:

  • The Five (5) Judges for the qualifying competitions will be a mix of Fly Tribe Ambassadors and Special Guests.

Freestyle Championship Final:

  • The Five (5) Judges for the Fly Tribe FPV Freestyle Championship Final at the NW FPV Park in Oregon will be:
